Soho House Open House Mentorship
Soho House's Open House Mentorship program gives young professionals who are new to the creative industries the opportunity to network and be paired with a mentor who will help them hone in on their skills and better position themselves in a constantly changing workforce. As a mentee in this program, I worked with my mentor Dani Roche, who is the Founder, Owner and Director of Toronto-based creative agency, Kastor & Pollux to develop the identity for my own company, 43NORTH Studio (then 43N 79W Studio).
In addition to my personal goals for this mentorship program, the other mentees and I were tasked with putting together a virtual showcase - an online event that included presentations, panels, performances, and more from the graduating mentees.
Sample pages from the first iteration of 43NORTH Studio's media kit along with some process work can be found below.
About Routes In
Through our own experience we've discovered that there are so many routes into the Creative Industry. Everyone's story is different and there are conventional and nonconventional ways to enter. Whether you studied French, Theatre, Advertising or nothing at all, there can be a place for you in the Creative Industry if you find your way in. This is why we've created the Routes In project. We want to open up the Creative Industry, making it more accessible and diverse by supporting every route to success. By connecting those who have made it, with those who are on their way. - Routes In (Instagram)
